3 – 4 people to work Concession stand:

Striders will be selling water, gator aid, chips, energy bars, etc.

No hot food such as hot dogs, hamburgers, pretzel, etc.

2 Starters: 2 volunteers

Person who starts each race by firing the gun. Does anyone

have or know someone with experience?

12 Timer-Judge: (6 in the 1^st group and 6 in the 2^nd group)

Each timer will be given a specific lane and stop watch. The timer is responsible to start the watch at the firing of the gun and stop watch when the runner’s torso crosses the plane of the finishing line. Upon completion of race, the timer-judge must hand the runner a timing sheet with the athletes Place and Time recorded

4 Runners:

Person who collects timing sheets from the timer-judge and brings to the Recorder.

2 Recorder:

Person who works in the tent and records the scores during the meet. Does anyone have experience?

3 Lane judges for relays:

Person who gets each group of runners to their correct running spot (1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd and

anchor) and waves a flag when all runners are in position. This signals the Starter to start

the race.

3 Stagers:

Person responsible for keeping the meet running on a timely fashion. At the start of each race the stagers will gather the next group of athletes and bring to the starting line and place them in their proper lane order.

6 Long Jump Team: (3 in the 1^st group and 3 in the 2^nd group)

Team will be required to record athletes name, measure jumps, record measurements and rake pit as required.

6 Shot put Team: (3 in the 1^st group and 3 in the 2^nd group)

Team will be required to record athletes name, measure jumps, record measurements.
