Database Maintenance

1. Has a computer to install the Denville Striders database
2. Has access to e-mail
3. Has an understanding of attaching files to e-mail
4. Familiar with saving Files as HTML
5. Understanding of window Explore/File Manager
6. Willing to key in the results of each track meet.
7. Has access to the internet
8. Has access to an Hp laser jet printer

Amount of time required

- A few hours early in the season will be needed to verify that we have all the athletes in the database and remove retired athletes from the system.

- A day will be needed to set up the 6 meets that are scheduled plus the open and championship meet.

- After each meet 1 to 2 hours will be needed to enter the results into the database, post them to the website and e-mail them to the Lakeland website.

- Just before the championship meet 1 to 2 hours will be needed to enter the runners who will be participating in the championship meet and e-mail the entries to the Lakeland website.

- A couple times a season an hour may be need to print a report for the head coach.

Assistance will be available to help in the transition of this task.
